Universität Hamburg announces three international summer schools for July 2019:

Biological Transitions - biology (4-week program, held from 1 – 27 July 2019)

Global Modernisms/Global Modernities (4-week program, held from 1 – 27 July 2019)

Health Economics - medicine, business, economics and social sciences (3-week program, held from 1 – 19 July 2019)

We would like to offer this program format, which is planned annually with varying core topics, as an opportunity for students from your university to visit and study at Universität Hamburg.

Each summer school covers a four-week-long (respectively three-week-long) program according to its core topic, a complementary program, a German language course and many extracurricular activities. The programs include housing (hotel, single rooms), a public transportation ticket, day trips to Berlin & Luebeck, and lunch vouchers.

Students participating in the 4-week program receive up to 9 ECTS credits for the core, complementary and additional courses. Students participating in the health economics summer school (3-week program) receive a total of 7 ECTS.

As a valued partner, we would like to offer some stipends to University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski“students. The scholarship waives tuition fees of up to € 2,900 (Package A, including housing). We hope that this offer is of interest to your students. It would be great if you could nominate some students eligible for the program until 22 February 2019, via e-mail at international-summerschool@uni-hamburg.de. Aside from this, University of Sofia students will get a discount of 20% on tuition fees.

If you have any further questions, our summer school coordinator Ms. Olga Wagner (olgacornelia.wagner@verw.uni-hamburg.de) is happy to help.
