On 2-3.10.2025, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” was a host of an International Workshop of WG4 COST ACTION COREX Project: COMPARATIVE RESEARCH ON THE EXECUTIVE TRIANGLE – CA22150. It is within the framework of the approved actions under the European Programme for Cooperation in the Field of Research and Technology – COST. CoREx is a pan-European network for comparative and empirical research on the trends, causes and consequences of different configurations of the executive triangle.
The project results will contribute to a better understanding of democratic governance in times of increasing political polarization, politicization, and populist politics. The lead researcher of the Bulgarian team is Prof. Dr. Tatyana Tomova from the Faculty of Philosophy of Sofia University, member of the Managing Board. Participants in the workshop are researchers from: Belgium, Turkey, Austria, Finland, United Kingdom, Croatia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Estonia, Portugal and Bulgaria. https://www.cost-corex.com/.
