Димка Гичева-Гочева е родена в Стара Загора през 1964 г. Завършила е философия в СУ „Св. Климент Охридски“ през 1987 г. От 1988 г. е хоноруван, а от 1990 г. – редовен асистент по история на античната и средновековна философия. Първата ѝ дисертация е за телеологизма на Аристотел, ръководена от проф. дфн Ради Радев. Втората ѝ дисертация е за понятията справедливо и справедливост преди и при Аристотел (2019).

Автор е на 6 книги:
„В лабиринта на Платон и Аристотел“ (УИ „Св. Климент Охридски“, 1994), удостоена с награди от Фондация „Минерва“ и Фондация „Св. Климент Охридски“ през 1996 г.;
„Нови опити върху Аристотеловия телеологизъм“ („ЛИК“, 1999);
„Университетът: накъде“ („СОНМ“, 2002);
„За Европа и университета“ („СОНМ“, 2005);
„POIKILIA. Eдна книга за класическите гръцки мислители“ (УИ „Св. Климент Охридски“, 2013);
„Към разбирането за справедливо и справедливост преди и при Аристотел“, УИ „Св. Климент Охридски“, УИ „Св. Климент Охридски“, 2022.
Преподава избираеми историкофилософски дисциплини в бакалавърски и магистърски програми във ФФ и ФКНФ в Софийския университет.
Редактор и коментатор е на няколко от книгите на Метафизика, преведена за първи път на български от Николай Гочев.
Преводач е на „За небето“ („СОНМ“, 2002) и на кн. „Епсилон на Никомахова етика от Аристотел“.
Съставител и редактор е на сборниците:

Dimka Gicheva-Gocheva (born in 1964) is associate professor in history of philosophy since 2004 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridsky”. Her first doctoral thesis is: The teleology in the philosophy of Aristotle, the second one is devoted to the understanding of justice and just prior and according to Aristotle. The bigger part of her work is focused on the classical Greek philosophy.

She has authored six books published in Bulgarian:
